Gift Boxes
I am organising things for a summer fete for my local church. It is great fun doing these sorts of events and this year I am running the cake stall. I have therefore been hunting around on the Internet for packaging for the cakes. Last time we were generously given lots of cakes but they were sent in tins and boxes but not wrapped in any cellophane or anything which meant they were vulnerable to wasps when they were on the stall. I have decided to prevent that from happening this time. I have decided to buy some gift boxes to give people slices of cake in so they do not get messy when they are trying to eat it. I have also decided to get some pretty candy bags as quite a few people donate home made sweets. I also have some pretty boring cellophane bags for the whole cakes to be put in. All I have to do is wait for them to arrive and then distribute them to everyone who is doing some baking. I must give them all some labels as well so that they can write what types of cake they are and then I will price them all up ready to sell. In the past the stall has sold out of things so I am going to have a massive cooking session the day before so that we have plenty of things.
