Gas Fires
I have always liked the look of wood burning stoves but have never been sure as to whether I can be bothered with all of the hassle of a real fire. I have recently noticed that you can get fires which look like them but that can burn gas logs and I am wondering whether this would be a nice compromise. I never liked the old fashioned gas fires but these look like a much better option where you get real flames and a realistic wood effect. You would still get that great look and all of the lovely warmth but you would not have to worry about all of the mess that goes with a real fire as well as needing storage for all of the fuel for it, such as the wood or coal, kindling and paper. I know that some people just love real firs and would not consider an alternative but in this busy age, I do not have the time for fiddling around with a real fire and so I think that this is a fantastic alternative. I think that if I get some nice fireplace accessories no one would ever know that it was not a real fire anyway.
