Starting Out
My son has just left school and has decided to start out in business selling shaved ice. I am so proud of him because he has made this bold move to start up in business by himself. He has not borrowed any money but taken out a loan with the bank to pay for the snow cone machines and so he will be burdened with the worry of the debt rather than concerning his family. He is so determined as well as I think that he will do really well at it. It is great to see how hard he is working towards it as I know he will need to put a lot in if he wants to get a lot out. I have started my own business, which did not do well and I know how hard it can be. I also understand the importance of being keen as the motivation does wear off but you need loads at the beginning - if you have none to start with you have no chance. He is sure he will do well as well and a positive attitude will help him a lot as well, it is no good thinking you will fail before you even start.
